Pursuit of Hearts

Well as you all know we have been believing for God to miraculously heal Jayme's heart. We have had confirmations in the past and they are becoming more and more frequent. Dreams, words of knowledge etc. but as of this week the Lord has been pursuing us with images of hearts. These are some examples. The first goes back to when Evangeline was born and the bed sheet on my bed had a tear in it that was shaped like a heart. You can see it behind me to the right in the picture. The next time was just this past Thanksgiving when we peeled a sweet potato and it made the shape of a heart. At the time I thought nothing of it past it being cute until this week when they're showing up everywhere.

The 3rd was this week when Jayme bit into his apple and it made a perfect heart. The 4th was a mug that I won in a game at a Cookie Exchange and my mug was red with a heart on it. The 5th was just today when I broke my head band, tossed it on my bed and when I came back a couple of hours later, it laid there resembling the shape of a heart.  

The best part about it is that God does not have to prove Himself to us. He does it out of love and pursuit. He needs only say something or confirm something once and it should be enough for us to take and believe in faith. But the pursuit, the daily interaction just reminds us of His care and love, especially when the daily circumstances of late have been challenging our ability to keep our focus on Him and not worry. He is a good God, please believe that. Even when we are faithless, He is faithful for he cannot deny himself. (2 Tim. 2:13)
