Birds and Bugs

It's Spring!! To celebrate and welcome it we made a trip to Owl's Hill, a nature and bird conservatory here. It was a Mommy/Bean date and though it was a little chilly, it was a beautiful day!

Trying out tools to see which might best resemble how each bird eats.
Dug up some worms just like a shorebird does:

and of course, bird watching:
We also celebrated the conclusion of their bug studies at preschool with the Ugly Bug Ball. Evangeline loved being a butterfly that day!:
