Here are some pictures from our Easter. It was a great time with family and friends. My friend Kym is here staying with us and I'm so glad! It has been much too long since Nashville has seen her face. And our friends Misty and Justin were here with their two beautiful little ones.

Of course as it seems these days, no day is uneventful for us Brauns. Jayme's stepdad John gave us quite a scare when he collapsed in church Easter morning. Thankfully he is home now and perfectly fine!! Praise Jesus. Also, Evangeline began running a fever Easter evening and when I took her temp just before I was planning on going to bed it was 102.5 with the ear thermometer so I woke her up and took her temp the other way and it reached 103.8. We did all we could to cool her down and it seemed to work. Thank God also for a brother-in-law who knows his stuff who you can call at 11:30 p.m. :) We stayed up with her until 1:30 a.m. and then woke her up again at 3:30 a.m. to check her temp. Fever was gone! It's been in and out since then but has not gotten that high again. The amazing thing about Evangeline is that even when she doesn't feel great, her temperament never changes. She was just as happy as ever at 11:30 p.m. woken up from her slumber, shivering with a fever, in her lukewarm bath. What a gift.

So needless to say we were truly thanking God for the work He did on the cross and for the sacrifice that makes us pure in His sight and able to approach His throne with confidence and boldness in our prayers. We definitely had prayers that day!
