I am starting to mourn the loss of summer. The mindset has already changed as kids are going back to school, you once again have to stop multiple times behind school buses in neighborhood traffic, and the sun is beginning to hide just a little earlier each day. Evangeline and I enjoyed our evening on the deck tonight. My beautiful friends, James and Cameron, gave us this amazing patio set. 5 years later and I finally have deck furniture!! So happy. :) My garden is one step closer every year. So we made the most of it and Evangeline and I had dinner outside tonight while Avonlea attempted to meet the new neighbor's dog on the other side of the fence.
She is smelling the flowers. A big deep sniff :)
