We spent last weekend in Gatlinburg. Aside from the $3,000 cost of a new transmission, it was a great trip. Thank you Jesus that our car made it all the way up until we were 5 minutes from our cabin before it decided it could go no further. Not sure what we would have done if we had been further out than that. Also so thankful that we have a very good friend who grew up in Knoxville whose dad is a mechanic and recommended someone wonderful to fix the transmission for us. It could have been SO much worse than it was.
Yes aside from all that it was a great trip. We had incredibly beautiful weather for the 2 full days that we were there.
