Remember sweet baby of mine, Mommy says you are not allowed to outgrow me until you're 15. But clearly, she will outgrow me. It's going to be so strange when my baby is bigger than I am.
She did great of course. Just got right up and made herself comfortable on the exam bed, lay perfectly still as the nurse checked her ears and eyes. She did have barely recognizable reflexes though...don't really know if that's a thing of concern or not.
Otherwise all is well here. Evangeline and I are both struggling with some cold symptoms this week though hers is clearing up much quicker than mine. I will say that one of the most frustrating thing for me about being pregnant is how quickly my normally great immune system goes down the tubes and how everything I normally take to keep a cold at bay is "questionable" and therefore too risky to take. (I typically use Umcka Cold and Flu by Nature's Way, Cold Calm by Boiron, and good ol' Airborne, as well as a combo of zinc, elderberry, and Slippery Elm. These work fantastically and I highly recommend them.) I feel so helpless except for medication which doesn't actually help you get better. Though after 1 night of sleep intervals of 1-3 hours I did take a Tylenol PM last night and will likely never do that again. It took until 1:00 this afternoon for the grogginess to leave me. I am so susceptible to anything that "may make you drowsy". On the upside, I did finally get a good solid night's sleep last night so I should quit complaining huh? ;)
