Good Friday

Today we read John 19:16-42. We talked about the sign above Jesus, and the criminals being crucified beside him. Evangeline by her own initiative, made our little Jesus figure carry his own cross to the hill. Then we put him on it, read about his death and re-enacted Joseph taking his body down, wrapping him in cloth, and putting him in the tomb. And then we rolled the rock in front of the tomb and placed the guards in front. Now to wait.
