Time for some Beaniesisms

In true following of her Mommy's footsteps she always asks me, "what do I have tomorrow?"

She chants like a college frat boy. She'll say, "Mommy I want another book. - 'nother book! 'nother book!"

One day she said, "Mommy I want another snack. Chanting: another snack. Another snack ." Me: "bean hold you horses." Her: with total serious face, "where are they? Where are my horses?"


At bedtime we usually read 2 or 3 books. She likes me to hold them "side to side" so she can pick the order in which she wants to read them. (When I was little, but old enough to read, I used to go to bed with a stack of books and would stack them in order of how I wanted to read them.)

She is in role-playing mode 90% of the time. I am usually someone else before I have even had my coffee. One morning I went up to her room to get her up and she popped up with a "oh, hello Alicia, thanks for waking me up." We are playing from the moment our day begins. Or we'll be listening to the Fresh Beat Band in the car and she'll say, "hey Marina, it's us!" "that was my violin, did you hear it?"

After seeing her cousin Megan at Christmas, she said, "Mommy I wish I could have brakes." ::: braces (like Megan has)

Me: "Bean when you pray, will you pray for your sister's temper?" Bean: "is she not feeling well?" get it?? 


Singing to the tune of "away in a manger" Bean sings "the little Lord Jesus no crying you faker" 


One day while talking to me she said, "But if Shiloh is lonely I'll let her play. If she's happy and alone....(thinks for a moment)...you can't be lonely and happy at the same time. It doesn't make sense." me: "who taught you That?" her: "me, I taught me that. I just knowed it." 


Me: "Would you pray first tonight and then I'll pray?" Bean: "No you pray first and then I won't. I'll just say Amen when you're done." 


Frustrated with Cecily and after kicking her in the tummy, she says "Mommy I just want to let her to Heaven" Then I explained how they would grow up and be friends and they would each have babies and their kids would be cousins..."like the minion kind?" 


I told Evangeline that we need to clean her room and her playroom when we're done with lunch and and I was walking Into the other room I hear, "oh ok, well have fun."


Me: "Bean do you want to play Play Doh? "No, I'm tired of that". Me: "You haven't played it on a long time, you haven't even opened your new Play Doh yet." Bean: "my feelings Just aren't play-dohy right now so I just don't want to do that."


 Getting ready to meet her friend Simon for a play date. (p.s. Simon is a cutie and apparently all the girls love him) Bean comes to me with her lip glass and says, "mommy can i put this on so Simon can see my lips beautiful?" Oh lord I am not ready for that.


Bean: "What is that sound?" Me"it's just the toilet running". Bean: "running? Out of time!?" 


"if I eat too much will I grow boobies?" random at dinner. Then she said "like you have boobies, and girl police officers have boobies." -???


Bean: "Dora really knows Spanish". As in the tone of "Dora sure knows Spanish" 


Me: "Bean honey, please don't make a mess with your food." Bean: "well that what kids do...make a mess!" 


"Moooommm" (yelling up the stairs) "why isn't Avonlea smiling?" 


"Gorder is my favorite toy. He speaks camlish." 


Building a sandcastle, Bean says "it's hard for me to do with a baby in my belly." me: you have a baby in your belly?" bean: "yeah so it's hard for me to lean down."


"I smell mushrooms". Me: "that's odd, I didn't think you knew what mushrooms smelled like". Bean: "they smell complete like puppies" 


Watching her as she blinked at the window and swatted the air saying "i can't right now" and looked at me and said "the sun wants me to play but I can't right now" 


"Cecily has a big tummy, I think she has a baby in her big tummy!"
