Well we heard from Jayme's doctors yesterday. The good news is that Dr. Petracek (Vanderbilt) feels extremely confident that he can repair the valve rather than replace it. Definitely good news!! The bad news: Don't even ask me how we are going to live with Jayme not working for 6 weeks +. We are simply waiting to see what God does because we have no solutions to that problem. I cannot work during that time because in that first 6 weeks Jayme cannot drive or lift more than 10 lbs. , so not even Evangeline. :( After that 6 weeks, he can increase that weight limit by 10 lbs each month. Basically, it's a slow gradual recovery.
We are still working out the details of scheduling the actual surgery but we're looking to try and do it before the end of the year, between Christmas and New Years for insurance purposes. So, that's where we are. Prayers are certainly needed and appreciated. I'll keep you posted!
