Well I don't even know what to do with this big girl of mine. She has been asking me to go to the potty. She hasn't actually gone on the potty yet but I occasionally indulge her by letting her sit there and she has the wiping herself down. Truthfully I am not ready to let go of diapers! Not until she is at least 2.
And this afternoon she practiced her daredevil skills and jumped out of her crib for the first time! What the heck!? She had knocked something off the wall and onto the floor which shifted the camera monitor out of place so as I was walking upstairs to move the camera and settle her back to sleep I saw on the monitor one little leg thrown over the side of the crib. The next thing I knew she was hanging off the outside of the crib and by the time I reached her room she was standing on the floor beside her crib. I tried my very hardest not to laugh as I approached this scene and in the most serious tone that I could muster I scolded her and told her that it was dangerous to jump out of her crib. Let's hope it set in.
