Ahhh it is beautiful here and we're all coming alive again with the bright sun, fresh dirt, and soft breezes. Evangeline will be 2 in one month!! Jayme and I had one of those surreal moments as we just kept saying it over and over at lunch today. Our baby is going to be 2. Two of the fastest and best years of our lives. So hard to believe.
She will say "Come" all the time when she wants you to play with her. "Come Mommy, come". She calls her flip-flops "two-pops". I love it. Birdies say "Ta-weet" and she wants to run all the time (see previous post about boo-boo). She will tell me especially if I'm holding her, "I wanna run". She has been at a consistent 25 lbs for a while now and while I know she had a bit of a spurt in height, I haven't measured her. Her feet haven't grown in a while either, still a size 5. Her hair has grown so much though and it's getting so thick (big surprise). Avonlea is still one of her favorite 'people' to spend time with and every time we come home she is as excited to see Avonlea and pat her as if she were a new member of our family. She talks almost non-stop in the car, points out every cow and horse she sees and asks where they went if she doesn't see any. She shows me the moon, the sun, and every plane that flies overhead has her undivided attention. She asks me what I'm doing. "What doin'?" or "what dooee Mommy?" She talks about all of her friends, asks me where they are and what they're doing. Oh how I love her.
