She is most certainly testing us these days. She doesn't like it when I am on the phone because it means my attention is diverted away from her so mostly she just yells loudly in the background. She will act silly when we're having our "time-out" talk, and has stood her ground on food battles lately. Even with some food I know she likes but the fact that we are making her try it is reason enough to refuse.
She has quite the pout as well. Yesterday I explained to her the concept of the library and how we return the books and get new ones. I thought nothing of imparting that information to her and was hiding my laughter as she broke into tears at the idea of the book return. "No, my books". And then proceeded to pout for the next few minutes until she was sufficiently pouted out.
I love every facet of every emotion and personality quirk she has. I love the pout, the sudden burst of emotion, and searching out her little heart's reasoning behind all of her actions. She is the best.
