While We Were Still Sinners...

Christ died for us. Romans 5:8. Astounding, humbling, and most beautiful Truth.

I am behind on my Easter posting. Evangeline is just now ceasing her "Happy Easter" exclamations to everyone we come in contact with. Typically it was "Happy Easter Papa", "Happy Easter Mommy" all day long for the entire Easter weekend, and "Happy Easter" to every cashier, child, and passer-by we saw.

This is probably in part due to the fact that on Good Friday we had our personal Easter celebration since Jayme wasn't in town on Easter Sunday. We opened her Easter basket and did our Resurrection Eggs as we told the story of Christ's sacrifice. Then on Saturday we had an Egg hunt, dyed eggs, and a cookout with the Galls and Pankratz and of course we finally landed on Easter Sunday which was celebrated by donning her pretty new dress, church, and Easter dinner with family. Papa even got home early so he was able to have Easter dinner with us!

And now, ...pictures.

Bjon monitoring the hunt on his awesome new deck. Hand built by him.

Dinner on the deck
Evangeline's big boo-boo. She ran off the deck and toward the house, didn't come back when I called until I came after her and began the count "1...2...and then she began running back toward me, tripped over her boots, and fell face first on the aggregate driveway. :(
Easter Sunday. Pretty dress, Toy Story bandaid accessory, big crocodile tears.
I didn't get a great one of her in her dress. We were trying to run out the door to get to church.

Later that afternoon playing on the deck with bubbles.

The BEST way to end the night. Opening game. Red Sox/Yankees at Fenway!! Red Sox won-it was a GREAT evening.
Watching the game with Grampy.
Whew...and that was our Easter weekend.

LOVE HER DRESS!! She looked beautiful, even with a bandaid.
