We had Cecily's 1 month check-up last Wednesday. Baby girl is growing! She is in the 45th percentile for weight at 9 lbs 8 oz and the 61st percentile for height at 22 inches. She has the most adorable rolls on her thighs and already seems so much bigger to me!
She has really come into her alert phase with smiles abounding and I have even heard a laugh a couple of times but she was asleep both times, does it still count? I can't wait to hear it for real. She loves to mimic us when we have face to face time. She will repeat noises we make like "coo" and "gaaa" and also mirrors our facial expressions, so much fun! And there is a funny noise that she makes when she gets really ticked off especially when she has her paci in that Jayme and I laugh at every time. It's like a pissed off version of her squawk, we love it. She is super strong holding up her head so well and one of my favorite little things she does is make a fist and puts her thumbs in between her pointer and middle finger. You can kind of see it in the 5th picture down. She'll pack a good punch one day ;)
Can't believe my baby is 7 weeks today. It's going to fly isn't it?
