5 Years Ago

It was 5 years ago today when Jayme proposed. We went for a picnic at Percy Priest Lake and I went home with a beautiful man and a beautiful ring. :) It may be the only time I can recall seeing Jayme nervous. In fact, I'm sure of it. (sidenote- I cannot fathom what it must be like to almost never get nervous, how awesome). 

It's interesting to sit here 5 years later and see what has changed. I can honestly say that we are happier and deeper in love than we were then. We have grown already in so many ways and just in knowing one another more and more. It is hard to believe that in 5 more years I will look back at this day and say the same thing. It's hard to think of where we might be in 5 years. 

I'm just so thankful to walk through each day with the one I love and no matter what hits us in these next 5 years it's all worth it when we go through it together.
