Talking to Grampy, Uncle Robby and Auntie at the Pumpkin Fest Tristan as Albert Einstein. Amazing. Evangeline wondering what on earth landed on Tristan's face. My lil' cowgirl. She was quite a natural on that pony, and it was the biggest one! We got lazy on the pumpkin carving this year My little lantern creations. So fun and easy. Because one costume just isn't enough. Helping Nana hand out candy Getting ready to trick-or-treat for the first time Papa taking her to her first door. She loved it! Every time the candy would hit the bag she'd say, "let's go to the next house!" but by the time we'd done about 7 houses she was ready to head back to Nana and Grampy's house. Perfect amount of time to enjoy the experience but not over-do it.
"To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich; to listen to birds, babes, and sages with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common-this is our symphony." - William Henry Channing
