Last night was great. A few friends of ours came over to pray with us and spend time waiting on the Lord and believing with us for healing. It was certainly a night to remind us that this life is about serving God and enjoying the incredible gifts that He gives us while we are here. Our family and our friends, (who also are our family) are true gifts. Ones that we do not take for granted! I finally came to understand not long ago what Jesus meant in Mark 3:31-35 "Then Jesus' mother and brothers arrived. Standing outside, they sent someone in to call him. A crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, 'Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you.' 'Who are my mother and brothers?' he asked. Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, 'Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does God's will is my brother and sister and mother." It is that your family becomes not only your flesh and blood (because some of us are not fortunate enough to have had a good family or one at all), but you walk in such love an unity with your friends that they become your family.
Jayme and Robby were re-baptised in the name of Jesus. Rob and Adam just spent the rest of the evening jamming ( I feel like a nerd when I say that because not being musical I don't even feel that I have the right to use the word) on the guitar and mandolin. Evangeline and I just listened and took pictures and Jayme painted the new room.
Just a sweet night of peace and love.
